SACNAS@Pitt K-12 Engineering Mentor Application
SACNAS is excited to start a new program to inspire students of Latin American and Caribbean origin in the Pittsburgh metropolitan area to pursue higher education in STEM! We aim to reduce the educational achievement gap and support their personal growth and development. You can aid this goal by mentoring these students and assisting them with STEM-based experiments!

Updates:
An open letter to Pitt:
On July 14, 2020, ICE reversed its punitive decision to require international students to attend in-person classes or face deportation. This is a huge win. Thank you to everyone who signed and supported our open letter.
We are currently discussing next steps because although the decree was reversed, we still have not secured sanctuary campus protections for international and undocumented students. We will be in contact in the next few days with further actions to take. Thanks again for your support.
